Background
Studio Aikin Karr is a multidisciplinary creative entity that explores the nuances of cultural identity and alternative living through technology, design, and visual storytelling. The Studio's work fuses culture, innovation, and speculative ideas to imagine how life, work, and play might evolve in future societies.
The founder, Karr, is an architectural designer and entrepreneur based in the United Kingdom. He holds a B.Sc. in Architecture and Environmental Design from the University of Westminster, London, and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Cardiff University. With experience working at a design–build firm in Nigeria, he also co-founded an award-winning startup focused on alleviating urban crime (Bushstrike Ltd.), supported by the National Space Research and Development Agency of Nigeria.
In addition, Karr is a workshop instructor at Parametric Architecture Academy, where he has taught the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the design process. He also creates content that explores the intersections of Art, Design & Architecture, Science, Innovation, Philosophy, and Culture, using film and narrative to spark curiosity and dialogue across disciplines.
